Can I move a slate pool table myself?
We don’t recommend it. Slate tables weigh 700–1,000 lbs and the slate must be re-leveled and sealed after the move. Improper moves can crack slate or damage rails and the frame.
Do you re-level the slate after the move?
Yes. Every pool table we move or install is precisely shimmed and leveled so it plays true.
Can you replace my pool table cloth during the move?
Absolutely. The table is already apart, making it the ideal time for pool table recovering with new billiard cloth.
