Pool Table Disassembly FAQs
Can I take apart a slate pool table myself?
We don’t recommend it. Slate pieces weigh 200–300 lbs each and chip easily, and damaged rails or lost hardware make reassembly harder and more costly.
Can my cloth be reused after disassembly?
Cloth is usually stapled or glued to the slate and rarely survives removal in reusable condition. We recommend new cloth at reassembly.
How should a disassembled pool table be stored?
Store slate flat or on edge in a dry, climate-stable space, never on a concrete floor without padding. We’ll prepare it properly for storage.
Can you reassemble the table later?
Yes. We offer billiard table assembly, moving and re-cloth services, so we can put your table back together whenever you’re ready.
